I learned concrete on a city public works crew, pouring sidewalks, curbs and driveway aprons and cutting out slabs that had cracked or lifted. Tearing out failed concrete teaches you that the trouble usually started underneath, in the subgrade, the packed ground the slab sits on. I started Redondo Beach Concrete Company here in Redondo Beach in 2023 to bring that same careful ground work to homeowners and property owners.
Homeowners call us for driveways, patios, walks and steps, and property owners call us for footings, slabs and lots across the South Bay. I come out to look at the job myself, and I work alongside our crew when we pour it. I'll also tell you straight that concrete cracks, and show you where the control joints, the grooves we cut on purpose, will steer those cracks. You can see everything we build on our home page.

I walk your job and measure it myself, then I'm on the crew the day we pour it. Nothing gets lost between what we talked about at the estimate and what goes in the ground.
Planned for the inspection
Public works taught me how street and sidewalk work gets checked, so we plan your job for the inspection. If it needs a permit, we tell you up front and handle the paperwork with the city or county office.
